Set up tables and KOT for a restaurant
Turn on restaurant mode, add areas, tables and kitchen stations, and send your first KOT.
Steps
- 1. Go to Settings → Restaurant and set “What do you sell?” to Restaurant or café (or Both to keep the retail counter).
- 2. Add kitchen stations (Kitchen, Bar, Dessert). On the Windows app, type each station’s printer name so KOTs print there without a dialog.
- 3. Open Settings → Restaurant → Tables & areas: add areas (AC hall, Terrace) and use “Add tables” to create T1…Tn with seats.
- 4. Under Catalog → Menu, put items into categories, add sizes (Half / Full), add-on groups (Spice level, Extras) and combos.
- 5. Open Sales → Restaurant, tap a table, add items and press Send KOT (F2). One ticket per station prints and shows on the kitchen screen.
- 6. Print bill (F8) issues the GST invoice with service charge; Settle (F9) records cash, UPI, card or a split and frees the table.
Tips
- Set the service charge % and its GST rate in Settings → Restaurant; it prints as its own line.
- Voiding a line after its KOT needs a reason and appears in Insights → Restaurant → Voids.
